• I’m currently posting to UK addresses only.

Orders of a value under £40.00 are posted using Royal Mail 1st Class. Orders valued over this amount will be sent using a tracked service and may require a signature.

Delivery is flat fee of £1.50 applied to all orders regardless of the order value or postal service used.

I aim to post all orders within 3 working days and your order will usually arrive 2 - 3 days after that. You’ll receive a shipping notification email when your order is on the way.

Please be aware that if strike action is taking place your order may be delayed. If a courier other than Royal Mail is used during strike action, I’ll let you know.

  • I want you to be delighted with your order but if you need to return an item for any reason, please post it back in the original packaging within 14 days.

Please note that earring returns will involve replacing the hooks or studs for hygiene reasons, and will incur a small restocking fee to reflect this.

I’d be grateful if you could email me (Rachael at dotandhana@gmail.com) to let me know to expect it. Please also include a note with your order number in the parcel.

    The return address is:

    dot&hana

    PO Box 21196

    FK10 9DU

Returned items are the customers responsibility until they are received by dot&hana and I recommend posting them by registered delivery. dot&hana will not accept liability for returned items lost or damaged in the post.

Your refund will be issued as soon as I’ve received and checked your parcel. Please allow up to a week for any payments to finalise and be available in your account.

All refunds will be made using the original payment method, e.g. to the Credit Card or PayPal account you originally paid with.

Postage is reimbursed on faulty items only.

  • All orders are posted using Royal Mail and while most orders are delivered within 3 - 4 days, due to the pandemic and current strike action, things are taking a little bit longer than normal to arrive.

I dispatch each online order as fast as I possibly can, however, once your parcel is dispatched I am no longer responsible for any delays. My recommendation would be to leave as much time as you can between your order and the required delivery date.

It’s very unusual for parcels to disappear in the post so if you’re worried your order is taking a bit longer than usual, I can assure you that they nearly always turn up!

Of course, I will replace or refund items which go missing along the way. This is done in line with Royal Mail’s missing parcels procedure and can take some weeks to resolve.

  • Wrapping things is a personal pleasure of mine and I like to think all the parcels I post are a delight to open. Unless you tell me otherwise, your order will be wrapped in polka dot tissue paper, placed in a cute and colourful recycled cardboard box, or dainty paper bag, which is hand stamped with the dot&hana logo.

A letter box sized postal box or padded envelope will keep the contents safe.

In order to minimise waste, I use recycled cardboard and paper wrapping where possible. If I use plastics such as bubble wrap, it will be reused from packaging I’ve received myself.
