Tuppence Ribbon Dress

The Tuppence Dress is all about the volume and the beautiful gauzy fabric. I’ve made this version from a really lovely cotton and lyocell blend, it has a light weave with a subtle woven check that is slightly sheer. It’s the kind of fabric that makes a simple black dress feel a little bit more interesting.

Designed with a loose, easy silhouette, the dress features a high gathered waist and ¾ bell-shaped sleeves with elasticated cuffs. I’ve finished the neck with a double-sided velvet ribbon for a playful touch, and of course, included hidden pockets in the side seams. It’s light, floaty, and so comfortable to wear.

Size & Fit

The Tuppence is designed to be worn loose and airy. This particular piece best fits a UK size 14, but the voluminous cut means it also looks great on a size 12 or 16 depending on how you prefer your clothes to sit. To be sure of the fit, I always recommend comparing the measurements below to a similar dress you already love and wear.
