Gardener's Gilet 2 - Ink Blue Cord
A one-of-a-kind handmade gilet made with a light layer of padding sandwiched between a soft ink blue cotton cord and cotton linen lining and two small pockets to the front.
This gilet has been made with leftover fabric of various dressmaking projects. It’s finished with hand stitching throughout the design using a dark blue Japanese sashiko thread to the front and back, and all edges are finished with a decorative blanket stitch.
Lovely to wear as an extra layer in winter, or throw on in the evening in warmer months.

Size and fit:
The bust (under the arms) measurement is approximately 105 cm. I’d class this as a size 14, but there are no fastenings so it’s worn open and would fit a 12 or 16 fairly happily too depending on how you like the fit. From shoulder to waist the length is approximately 47 cm.
How to care for this gilet…
Gently spot clean or handwash in cool water and dry flat.
This garment has handstitched details which may be prone to catching or pulling, please take care when wearing and storing.
Please note that some colour may transfer when worn or stored with lighter colours, please take care to avoid this by wearing with darker and similar colours.
